An international hotel chain selected a property in Frankfurt for a major refurbishment and required a comprehensive FF&E logistics solution. This involved delivering items such as beds, wardrobes, lighting fixtures and decorative assets to specific floors in a strict sequence.

As the hotel remained partially operational, noise and disruption had to be minimised. The client required a logistics partner who could oversee scheduling, temporary storage and white-glove installation.

GOCELO Frankfurt designed and implemented a bespoke FF&E logistics strategy for a live hotel refurbishment, tailored to the operational and aesthetic requirements of the project. All furniture, fittings and decorative assets – including beds, lighting systems, wardrobes, desks and artwork – were received at our secure logistics centre in Frankfurt. There, the goods were sorted and grouped by hotel floor, room number and installation phase, in order to support a carefully sequenced delivery schedule that was aligned with site readiness. Deliveries were conducted in tightly timed batches using elevator-compatible transport equipment and hotel-approved access routes to minimise disruption to guests.

GOCELO’s hospitality-trained field service teams managed all in-room tasks, including professional unpacking, positioning furniture, installing lighting and precisely placing décor items according to interior design plans. Working in tandem with designers and site supervisors, our teams ensured full brand consistency and a high-end finish. With a Single Point of Coordination (SPOC) and our real-time Transport Management System (TMS), the client was able to maintain visibility and control throughout, tracking deliveries and monitoring room-by-room status while coordinating international design input across time zones.
