GOCELO Hamburg developed a comprehensive solar logistics and field service solution tailored to the specific operational rhythm of its installation partners’ rooftop energy projects across the city. All solar components, including panels, inverters, racking systems and cabling, were received at our Hamburg logistics centre. There, they were carefully inventoried, grouped according to project phase and pre-sorted by rooftop installation zone. This strategic staging enabled precise, sequenced deliveries in line with the evolving construction timeline. Our logistics team used route-optimised transport planning and liftgate-equipped, crane-accessible vehicles to deliver materials safely and efficiently to urban construction sites.
GOCELO’s trained field service staff supported last-mile operations by coordinating manual offloading, site entry and rooftop movement, minimising disruption and wait time for installer crews. Throughout the project, our Transport Management System (TMS) provided the client with real-time visibility of asset movement, ETA updates and proof of delivery. A dedicated Single Point of Coordination (SPOC) ensured all project stakeholders were kept informed, enabling quick decision-making and clear communication between the solar installation teams and GOCELO’s local Hamburg logistics specialists.
